Meet Meatball — Your New Best Buddy! This sweet 8 year old, 65-pound hunk of love is everything his name promises—a big ol’ softie with a heart of gold. Meatball is thriving in his foster home in North Carolina and adjusting beautifully. He’s completely house trained (he’ll even go to the door when he needs out!) and is crate trained too. This boy is laid-back, gentle, and full of affection—with just the right amount of goofy charm. You'll often find him happily chewing a bone, lounging nearby, or enjoying a short gallop in the yard when the mood strikes. He’s great with dogs, curious but respectful of cats, and does well in the car. While he can be a little vocal when he wants your attention (because he loves being near his humans), his voice just adds to his sweet personality. He’s an obedient, eager-to-please boy who shines on walks and responds naturally to guidance. Whether you’re looking for a couch buddy, a walking companion, or a loyal shadow who wants nothing more than to be your lap dog (yes, all 65lbs of him!), Meatball is ready to fill your life with love, laughs, and that perfect senior dog sweetness. Ready to meet your Meatball? He’s ready to meet you. The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.
