Athena
Meet Athena! Athena's journey hasn't been easy. She came to us as a protective and standoffish mama dog, fiercely guarding her 9 puppies after living a life on the streets and having litter after litter. It took a lot of time and patience to gain her trust, but now that she's found it again, Athena is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl. She may take time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she will love you forever. Athena has a calm demeanor and would thrive in a home where her new family can give her the time and patience she needs to feel safe and comfortable. As a Vizsla mix born around February 26, 2019, she’s fully grown and ready to be a loving companion. Athena is spayed, up to date on prevention, and fully vaccinated. She’s now ready to find her forever home where she can continue to blossom and show her true loving nature. Her adoption fee is $250, and she is available through A Doggie 4 You. If you're interested in giving Athena the loving home she deserves, apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. Could Athena be the missing piece of your family? This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
