Meet Stanley ! Stanley is a shy sweet 9’month-old puppy mill breeder release. He’s a sweet Shihtzu with a heart full of love waiting to find the family that will earn his trust and affection, He’s a shy and will need your time and patience to reach inside his heart. As a Puppymill breeder release he hasn’t been exposed to the nice side of life and people. However, allowing him time to decompress and slowly feel safe to warm up, he’ll be your loyal companion for life. Stanley enjoys the company of respectful dogs and do will do far better in a home with another dog to follow ,. His playful side shines when he feels comfortable. If you’re looking for a pup that will bring joy to your home, Stanley is eager to meet you! Like all puppies, he’ll benefit from gentle structure and positive training to help him settle into his new family and routine. Stanley is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, is heartworm and tic borne disease negative and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $1200.00. He’s searching for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so he wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or preferably someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy may not be the right choice. We adopt in and to the local Chicago metro area only. We require home visits. If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate for Stanley the first step is to fill out an application for adoption on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/adoption Rescue Tails Animal Welfare is a volunteer in home foster based rescue, We do not have a physical location.
