Spike is a senior gentleman, around 14 years young, who is ready to find the perfect quiet and comfortable retirement home. This sweet fella moves at a relaxed, easy pace. Spike adores every person he meets and his gentle nature makes him an absolute joy to be around! His favorite activities include cozying up for a nice long nap and enjoying the quiet companionship of his people. Spike is simply looking for a loving home and a soft bed to spend his remaining days, surrounded by comfort and kindness. Despite his age and slow pace, Spike still loves to venture outside for his daily strolls—he takes his time to sniff and enjoy the fresh air. These short outings, followed by a well-deserved nap, are the highlights of his day. Spike doesn't ask for much; just a consistent, loving environment where he can feel secure and cherished. He has been spending his most recent days in a loving foster home. He has learned the routine of his foster home well and has enjoyed getting to know the other resident dogs, cats, and children. He truly fits right in! If you have a quiet home and a big heart open to giving a deserving senior the absolute best final chapter he could ask for, Spike may be your boy! Give this sweet, gentle soul the comfort he deserves and watch him repay you with endless affection and quiet gratitude. Spike has been receiving daily medication for his arthritis so this is something any possible adopter should be prepared to continue to ensure the most comfortibility for this sweet fella.
