Meet Wilbur! In his foster home, Wilbur has proven to be a true gentlemanâheâs fully housetrained, sleeps soundly through the night, and is as polite as they come. Indoors, heâs calm and content to quietly stay closeânever clingy, just gently present. Heâs shy at first, but once youâve earned his trust, heâll show you his love with his signature âWilbur leanâ into your side and maybe even a gentle kiss or two. Wilbur gets along beautifully with his fosterâs dogs, though he prefers to relax near them rather than engage in play. His idea of a perfect day includes soaking up the sunshine in the yard, listening to birdsong, and watching for his feathered friends with total fascinationâheâs absolutely mesmerized by them! When itâs time for a walk, heâs great on leash in his harness and loves exploring, though youâll definitely notice when a squirrel or rabbit catches his eye. Described by his foster as âa weighted blanket with a wagging tail,â Wilbur is steady, soothing, and full of quiet warmth. Heâs considerate and patientânever one to rush ahead on the stairs or demand too much attention. He enjoys his chew toys, listens well, and has perfected the art of relaxation (with the occasional adorable snore). Wilbur has come such a long way from his rough beginnings and continues to blossom with time, love, and patience. Heâs ready to bring his calm, comforting energy to a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished.
