Meet Rusty
Sponsorship Needed: Meet Rusty At 15 years old, Rusty finds himself in a place no senior dog should be—facing uncertainty as his beloved owner enters hospice care. Rusty was adopted from us several years ago, and now he’s back in our care -our commitment to our adopters if they can no longer take care of our dogs. Rusty is currently located in Middlesex and is available for sponsorship only at this time. This sweet senior is in generally good health for his age, though he does have arthritis and is both blind and deaf. He may also have some neurological issues. Rusty spends his days doing what comforts him most—quietly walking back and forth, taking in the world in his own way. He’s not a cuddly dog and prefers his independence. Rusty doesn’t enjoy being picked up and has a very aloof personality—but he deserves safety, comfort, and dignity just the same. What Rusty Needs: A compassionate sponsor to help cover his ongoing care so we can give him the peaceful, stable life he deserves in his golden years. Every senior like Rusty matters.
