Barry – Gentle, Affectionate, and Looking for His Person Barry is a 1½-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing 78 pounds with a remarkably sweet, sensitive nature. Devoted companion: Barry likes staying close to his person during his outings, frequently checking in for reassurance, pets, and affection. He loves leaning against people and occasionally gently offering a paw. Soft and sensitive: He may initially appear cautious, offering shy glances. With patience and kindness, his confidence grows noticeably, and he becomes more relaxed and engaged. Gentle manners: Barry walks politely close to you on leash and takes treats very gently. He knows “sit,” though he may need a little encouragement at first. Sweetly social: He generally shows little interest in reacting to other dogs or passing people. While he may briefly enjoy chasing a tennis ball, affection consistently ranks higher than toys or treats.
