*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Oscar is a lovable Great Pyrenees mix with a gentle soul and an endless supply of affection. He came to us after his elderly owner moved into a nursing home, and now this big, beautiful boy is ready to find his forever family. He's housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, and has good house manners — he knows how to sit and will even throw in a handshake when he's feeling particularly charming! Oscar spends his days happily playing with his canine foster sister and would love a female canine companion in his forever home. Cats are no problem either — he gives them a curious sniff and goes right about his business. He does wonderfully with older kids who know how to respect animals, happily letting them pet him and snuggling right up beside them. He also greets new people at the house with ease. On walks, Oscar has never once tried to make a break for it, which is a very reassuring quality in a Pyr! He'd do great as a leash-walk-only dog, or with a 6-foot fenced in yard. He enjoys being brushed, playing with toys, and fully believes he is a lap dog. And he absolutely loves car rides! He gets wonderfully silly during playtime and makes the most hilarious noises in his sleep. His favorite treats are cheese, hot dogs, and peanut butter, and his barking is pretty minimal — he mostly just joins in when the other dogs start the chorus.
