A SWEET & HANDSOME FELLOW: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 18 lbs. Hi there! My name is Simon! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m so glad they brought me into the Mostly Mutts family. I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers and my wonderful fosters, and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my own. I think that is the best news ever! Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and played more with the female dogs. I also came in with a few other dogs. So, if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / I met a cat very briefly in a temp. foster home I visited and I just ignored her. All cats are different, so I don’t know how I’d be with another kitty. / I met kids at Mostly Mutts and avoided them, though I didn’t show any aggression, so if you have kids 10+ years old, let’s meet as younger kids make me very nervous. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I can be a little timid at first, but I’m very sweet and warm up with a little patience. Once I feel comfortable, my playful and affectionate side comes out - I’ve had the zoomies in the play yard and even like hopping up on the bench! I can be a bit jumpy around unfamiliar people or new things, but it’s easily managed and usually just part of my playful, curious nature. I love to follow my foster around and be nearby her. I’m a quiet pup who rarely barks. When I do, I’m just letting my foster know that I hear an unfamiliar sound I can’t identify. I wasn’t a fan of the bath sprayer, though I handled the rest of my bath like a champ. I was pretty scared during my photo shoot, but with time and kindness, my sweet personality really shines. / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands and I also accept friendly strangers without jumping and use proper door etiquette. Check back soon to see what else I’ve learned! I am new to leash walking, so please be patient with me on this. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together. / I did well in my crate at Mostly Mutts and I eat and sleep in there in my foster home. / I’m doing well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule as well as in my foster home. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I’m interested in toys, like treats, love running around the play yards at Mostly Mutts, and enjoy playing with the nice volunteers. I also love to roll around on the ground and scratch my own back (lol), as well as roll myself up in blankets. Cuddling with my foster is great as well as giving and receiving kisses and pets. Once I’m settled into my new home, I’m sure we’ll discover even more fun things to enjoy together! / Cars driving by make me a little nervous. Other than that, I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. You may notice that I have some tear staining, but there are over-the-counter products that you can try to help with this. I’m a sweetie who is looking for a kind and gentle family that will love and take great care of me! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
