Harley comes back to us after being in his home since 2018 (adopted from ICAS), due to breed restrictions with his familyâs housing. This is something many owners are faced with, and like them, Harleyâs family had to make the most heartbreaking decision after such ultimatums as âget rid of the dog or you will no longer be allowed to reside hereâ are given.Harley is 9 years old and has been with his last family for 8 of those years. They let us know that he is housebroken, that he has been around children 10â15 years of age and did great, and did let us know that he doesnât quite know his size of 66.50 pounds and can sometimes play rough, but all in fun. He thinks he is a little guy.He also doesnât like cats, as he tends to bark at them constantly, so he would need a cat-free home. They shared with us what they thought his best qualities are, keeping in mind that there is so much more to this wonderful guy, but specifically that he is cuddly and loves women. While he has been here this time, he has met a similar-sized spayed female and it was instant tail wags and he ran right up to her ready to play, again not knowing just how big he is. Regardless of his 9 year age, he is a youngster at heart and you can tell in his energy and love for play.He also did great for his exams, although he was a little nervous, but he shook that off quickly and did great for it all. We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children to ensure a great fit for everyone. If you are in need of a sweet older cuddlebug to join your family, sounds like Harley is your guy and you must come and meet this cutie in person. All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters should establish veterinary care after adoption to maintain their new petâs health. The 3-3-3 Rule:⢠3 Days to decompress⢠3 Weeks to learn routines⢠3 Months to build trustAdoption Fee: WAIVED430 Bristol Drive, StatesvilleMonâFri 12â5pm | Sat 11amâ2pmWe are a first come, first served, in-person adoption center.Harley / A227881: 9 years old, neutered male, 66.50 pounds
