CHUBBY
Meet Chubby! At 12 years old, Chubby has earned every gray hair, every nap, and every bit of wisdom that comes with being a distinguished senior gentleman. Now he's looking for a forever home where he can spend his golden years exactly as he pleasesâwith plenty of sniffing, exploring, relaxing, and maybe a little adventure sprinkled in along the way. Chubby is the kind of dog who marches to the beat of his own drum. While he's friendly with people and enjoys their company, he's not overly clingy or demanding. Instead, he's content to explore the world around him, investigate every interesting scent, and quietly enjoy being part of the family. Don't let his age fool youâthis boy still has some pep in his step! Chubby enjoys getting out for walks and adventures, though he prefers to take things at his own pace. He's curious, independent, and happiest when he has room to wander and satisfy his nose. Whether it's a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood or a sunny afternoon exploring the backyard, Chubby is always ready to see what the day has to offer. When it comes to other dogs, Chubby is mostly indifferent. He'll say hello if he feels like it, but he's generally more interested in doing his own thing than making new canine friends. He's a confident, mature dog who knows exactly what he likes.Like many senior dogs, Chubby shows a few signs of aging. He can be a little stiff when moving around and may need an adopter who understands that his comfort and mobility are important. He also pulls surprisingly hard on leash when something catches his interest, so he'll need someone physically capable of handling him during walks. Above all, Chubby is looking for a soft place to landâa calm home where he can enjoy the simple pleasures of life, receive the care he deserves, and finally spend his retirement years surrounded by love. Chubby doesn't need perfection. He doesn't need endless excitement. What he needs is a family willing to give a senior dog the chance he deservesâa warm bed, a few good walks, and a whole lot of love. If you believe senior dogs are the best dogs, Chubby is waiting to meet you.
