Anunoby – Energetic, Affectionate, and Enthusiastic Young Athlete Anunoby is a 1-year-old, 50-pound black mixed-breed dog with a lively, playful personality and a strong love for people, play, and engagement. He is an active young dog who thrives when given outlets for both his physical energy and his curiosity, and he will do best in a home ready to keep him mentally and physically enriched. Affectionate, people-focused companion: Anunoby is highly social and enjoys being close to his handlers. Once he has had a chance to settle from his initial excitement, he becomes very affectionate and will often seek out attention, including leaning into pets and hopping up to rest in a handler’s lap. Playful, active, and toy-engaged: He enjoys interactive play such as fetch and will enthusiastically chase, retrieve, and carry toys. He also shows confidence and enjoyment during enrichment activities like climbing and exploring outdoor furniture, especially when play is structured and engaging. Smart and food-motivated learner: Anunoby is highly motivated by treats and responds well to reward-based training. He is beginning to learn basic cues such as “sit” and “touch,” and shows strong potential as a training partner when sessions are kept positive and consistent. Dog-to-dog social potential: In group play evaluations, Anunoby has shown playful, social interest in other dogs and is able to engage appropriately in off-leash playgroups with similar-energy dogs. He would do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home. Anunoby will thrive in an active, dog-savvy home that can provide daily exercise, enrichment, and continued positive reinforcement training. Due to his high energy and enthusiastic, sometimes jumpy greetings when excited, he may do best with older children or adults who can help guide his manners while supporting his playful, social nature.
