Please visit our web site at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process. Don't let the gray on his face fool you—Barnaby still has plenty of pep in his step! At 11 years young, this adorable 13-pound Rat Terrier proves that age is just a number. Barnaby is a bright and curious little guy who loves walks at the park, squeaky toys, and riding shotgun on car adventures. He settled into his foster home like he'd lived there forever—he's got that confident Terrier swagger and isn't shy about making himself comfortable! Friendly with both men and women, Barnaby loves to curl up next to his favorite person for a cozy couch snuggle. He is also house trained and very food motivated. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate in the bedroom. With a proper introduction, Barnaby gets along with other dogs and with cats. He currently shares his foster home with both a large and a small dog, and two senior cats. He immediately befriended the smaller dog and just needed a little time to adjust to a bigger canine companion. He’d probably do best with bigger dogs if they are calm and easy going. We haven't seen Barnaby interact with children, but we think he'd do best in a home without little ones. If you're looking for a fun-sized sidekick with a playful spirit and a big personality, Barnaby is your guy. He's ready to trade foster life for a forever home where he can enjoy daily adventures, endless snuggles, and all the love he deserves. Approximate Birthdate: June 2015 Adoption Fee: $250 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.
