Confiscated from a neglectful home when I was just a year old, I’ve spent the last seven years living in a local shelter. While it’s been a long wait since 2018, I’ve never lost my happy, smiley spirit. It is finally time for me to find a real, stable home environment where I can belong. I am a very smiley and happy boy! Being a smart pupper, I’ve already mastered basic training like walking with a halti, heel, sit, down, and place. I’m quite energetic and live for the outdoors, never saying no to an adventure. While I can play nicely with other dogs, being a bit selective means I’d honestly prefer to be the only resident dog in my forever home, more attention for me! I’m even a brave boy who stays calm at the vet's office. My dream is an active family with an experienced owner who can continue my training and review what I know. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal.
