BENTLEY
City of Houston, Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care • Houston, TX
Boss the bulldog has the most laid back personality and is equal parts spunk and chill. His foster family says he’s your typical bulldog in all the best ways: stubborn when it comes to potty breaks, full of funny noises, and completely lovable. Boss has settled beautifully into foster life and gets along well with other dogs, especially respecting the space of his senior foster sisters. He’s social, curious, and enjoys keeping an eye on birds and squirrels during walks. Boss is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained with zero accidents. While toys are fun, Boss loves treats and cuddle time more. He has especially bonded with his foster dad, following him around and settling in for TV time every evening. Boss is a loving snugglebug once he settles in, but he can be timid with new people. He needs a little time to get comfortable and come out of his shell. Once he settles in though, there's no going back. Boss will be by your side and expect all the scratches and snuggle time that you can fit in a day. Because of his initial timidness, we think Boss would thrive best in a home with older children or no children and with a mom or dad who is familiar with bulldogs and their charming quirks. Boss is ready for his forever home full of treats and cuddles. He is looking for a family that appreciates his easygoing nature, lovable personality, and the occasional stubborn bulldog attitude.
