Meet The Fruits! Mango and Papaya (AKA The Fruits) are 9-year old spayed female best friends looking for their forever home! Mango is an 8lb spunky chihuahua-dachshund mix with a big personality while Papaya is a 9lb sweet chihuahua-yorkie mix who is a bit more shy. Both of these ladies are completely potty pad trained and even though they enjoy the backyard and a walk around the block, they prefer to use the potty pads. Mango takes a thyroid medication and liver supplement (~$15 a month cost), and Papaya is on no medications. They’ve had their dentals already and they are both up-to-to date on their rabies, distemper-parvo, and bordatella vaccines. The Fruits have one goal in life and that is to be as close to their person/people as possible! They love to cuddle and snuggle up next to you in bed. Given their size, they are sometimes timid when meeting adults and they can take some time to get comfortable. They have not been around children but respectful, older children should be no problem. They do well with other dogs of all sizes and have no issue standing up for themselves if they are picked on due to their size. It is unknown how they are with cats. We would love to find these adorable little ladies their forever home together! They are available for adoption in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Sahuarita and Catalina only. Their adoption fee is $450, with an additional $21 each for PACC licensing.
