While she may be entering her golden years, this lovely lady still has plenty of life, curiosity, and love left to share with the lucky family who welcomes her home. Sophie is the definition of a gentle soul. She enjoys the company of people and other dogs, but she's not one for chaos or drama. She's happiest in calm environments where she can take things at her own pace and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. When meeting new people, Sophie is friendly and approachable, though she appreciates gentle introductions and respectful handling. She's affectionate without being demanding and enjoys spending time near her people, quietly soaking up companionship and attention. Around other dogs, Sophie is polite and social but prefers friends who share her mature outlook on life. While she'll happily exchange greetings and gentle sniffs, she isn't interested in overly rambunctious playmates. In fact, if another dog comes on too strong, Sophie is quick to excuse herself and create some space. She's a classy lady who prefers manners over mayhem. Despite being a senior, Sophie still enjoys getting out for walks, exploring her surroundings, and staying active. She has a moderate energy level and would benefit from regular exercise and enrichment balanced with plenty of opportunities to relax and recharge. Sophie can occasionally show signs of stress or uncertainty in busy environments, and she appreciates slow, patient introductions to new situations. Because of this, she would likely be happiest in a calm household without young children. Sophie has spent a lifetime gathering wisdom, and now she's ready to enjoy the rewards of a loving forever home. She's not looking for constant excitement—just a comfortable bed, a kind family, and someone to share her days with.
