Meet Walter II
Walter is a little bitty beagle boy who is just entering his senior years. Before whatever events caused him to end up in the shelter, he most likely had a good life. He's happy and there is no evidence of any kind of abuse or trauma. He has been well socialized with other dogs and is friendly with everyone he meets. He has some energy, but just enough to give him some zoomies around the house occasionally, not anything that requires yard access for hours. He walks well on leash and he's a lap dog who sits in his foster mom's lap in the evenings while watching TV and sleeps next to her in bed at night. Walter is not destructive in any way. He does, however try to mark in the house, and we hope his upcoming neuter surgery, in conjunction with foster mom's training, will eradicate that. Walter also can be quite vocal when he's left behind, but that may get better... especially considering that he's only been in his foster home for barely a week at this writing. Walter is heartworm negative and will be ready for a sleepover after he recovers from his neuter surgery which is scheduled for July 7th.
