Penny is about 8 years old and 40 lbs. The shelter she came from called her a Jack Russell mix, but she also looks part hound. She is spayed. She is skittish of people and will need a home that will be patient with her and that will be willing to give her the training she needs. She has warmed up to volunteers who spend time with her. She loves getting treats. She likes other dogs, especially males her size or a little bigger. Her BFF and roomie is handsome Spuds - they would love a home together. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. * We are accepting applications for volunteers to spend time with our dogs, hang out, sing/read to the shy ones, walk/toss ball with those who go to the playgrounds; cleaning, office work, gardening, and building/repair projects! *
