Currently located at our Owensboro, KY location Felix Felix is a 7-year-old hound mix with a heart as big as his 70-pound frame. This sweet boy has been with us since January 12th, and he’s more than ready to find a forever home to call his own. Currently in foster, Felix has proven himself to be an all-around wonderful companion. He does great with kids, and other dogs, making him an easy addition to many types of families. He walks nicely on a leash, hasn’t shown any issues with sharing, and truly just enjoys being part of the action. He does seem very interested in chasing and barking at cats but has not tried to hurt one. One of Felix’s absolute favorite things? Car rides! He’s always up for an adventure and will happily ride shotgun wherever life takes you. Felix does have some arthritis, but it doesn’t stop him from enjoying life—it just means he’s looking for a home where he can stay comfortable and loved. After months of waiting, Felix deserves a soft place to land and a family to love him through his golden years.
