Penny was picked up by animal control as a stray and relocated with the original owner registered to the microchip. The original owner was separated from Penny 8 years prior from a former re-homing. The original owner is temporarily fostering Penny to keep her out of a shelter but is not able to account for the past 8 years of her medical/social/family history. Penny did receive shots when she was picked up by animal control and she has a rabies voucher. Currently (and historically), Penny is an incredibly sweet, submissive, and very food-motivated old lady. She has been staying in a crate during unsupervised hours (due to the presence of other senior dogs in the home) and is okay with it but she really doesn't need to be in one and is housebroken and well-mannered. Penny gets along with all people and animals but sometimes seems a little shy/nervous when meeting new dogs but shows zero aggression. Penny definitely loves people.
