Meet Acorn (Yoshi)

Meet Acorn! This affectionate, relaxed girl came to the shelter through no fault of her own. She is housebroken and enjoys lounging on the floor near her people. Although she wasn't regularly crated in her previous home, she can be crated and generally settles well. She has interacted positively with children ages 8 and older and will allow friendly strangers to pet her once she feels comfortable. Acorn has so much joy and excitement for life. She's incredibly easy on leash, and not reactive to other dogs or the community cats out on the trails. She's very affectionate and loves to snuggle and give kisses. Acorn is food motivated and eager to engage with her person. Acorn has met other dogs at the shelter, she does best with socially savvy male friends and may need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.
