Partners & supporters

Let’s help senior dogs get seen — together.

Lily's Second Chance is a Tennessee nonprofit corporation built around one idea: older dogs deserve to be noticed. Shelters, rescues, funders, and everyday supporters all make that possible.

Ways to partner

However you help older dogs, there’s a place for you

Shelters & rescues

Get your adoptable senior dogs in front of more people. We surface older dogs and link every listing straight back to your organization — you keep every application and adoption.

List your senior dogs

Funders & sponsors

Support the infrastructure that keeps senior dogs visible — the listings, outreach, and resources that help older dogs get noticed before they run out of time.

Support the mission

Community & volunteers

Share senior dogs, contribute happy-ending stories, and help spread the word. Some of the most powerful help costs nothing but a moment of attention.

How partnering works

Lily's Second Chance is a visibility layer for senior dogs, not a shelter. We gather adoptable older dogs from shelter and rescue sources across the United States and link every listing straight back to the organization that cares for the dog. That means partnering with us costs shelters nothing and never takes anything away — applications, adoptions, and relationships with adopters stay entirely with you.

For funders and sponsors, support goes toward the work that keeps older dogs visible: listings, outreach, senior-dog resources, and limited assistance for senior pets when funds and partners allow. We’re honest about what your support does and doesn’t do — we don’t promise guaranteed medical, rescue, transport, or rehoming assistance for any individual pet.

Lily's Second Chance is a Tennessee nonprofit corporation. It is not currently representing donations as tax-deductible unless and until federal tax-exempt status is approved by the IRS. Please consult a tax professional if you have questions.

What Lily’s Second Chance does — and doesn’t do

What shelters & rescues get

  • Their senior dogs listed on a dedicated senior-dog discovery site
  • Every listing links directly to the organization’s own adoption page
  • No fee, no account required, no data shared with third parties
  • Adoptions, applications, and relationships stay entirely with the rescue
  • Optional social sharing to extend a listing’s reach

What funders & supporters make possible

  • Hosting, infrastructure, and uptime for the listings platform
  • Outreach and senior-dog visibility campaigns
  • The senior-dog resources, news, and guidance sections
  • Development of new tools to surface overlooked dogs

What Lily’s Second Chance does not do

  • We do not rescue, transport, or take in individual animals
  • We do not guarantee medical assistance or rehoming for any pet
  • We do not vet, endorse, or have legal responsibility for listed organizations
  • We do not operate as a shelter, foster network, or placement service
  • Donations are not currently tax-deductible (no IRS 501(c)(3) yet)
