Meet Aurelio

Aurelio is an 8-year-old, 15-pound Shih Tzu who is just a happy, funny little guy with a personality that makes you smile! This little fellow is sweet, silly, affectionate and seems to be in a good mood pretty much all the time. He's one of those dogs who doesn't have to do much to make you laugh. Just watching him go about his day is entertaining enough. One of Aurelio's absolute favorite things to do is bask in the sunshine! Give him a nice sunny spot and he'll happily park himself there for as long as the sun cooperates. He's got this relaxing thing pretty well figured out! Aurelio also loves other dogs and gets along great with his canine friends. He's a social little guy who enjoys being part of the gang and is just as happy hanging out with his buddies as he is getting attention from his people. He does have a little bit of cataracts, which isn't unusual for a dog his age, but it doesn't seem to bother him much. He's still a happy little fellow who enjoys life and everything going on around him. At 8 years old, Aurelio is past the crazy puppy stage but certainly hasn't lost his sense of humor or his love for life. He's a really nice age for someone looking for a little companion who still has plenty of personality but doesn't need to be entertained every minute of the day. Aurelio is just a sweet, funny, lovable little dog who deserves a family of his own, a comfortable place to sleep and preferably a house with some really good sunny spots! Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know their actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested (if age appropriate), put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
