Meet Blue

Meet Blue Blue is almost 10 years old, and for nearly two of those years, he has been without a home of his own. Blue’s story is one that has always broken our hearts. He was abandoned alongside another dog he lived with. His companion was lucky enough to find a home, but Blue was left behind. He was passed over simply because some people thought he looked “scary.” Anyone who has actually taken the time to know Blue knows that couldn’t be further from the truth. Behind that big pittie face is an incredibly sweet, happy, loving boy who just wants to be loved. Blue loves being around people, soaking up attention, and cuddling with the people he trusts. He’s also very treat motivated, and the quickest way to his heart is definitely through a snack. Blue is good with other dogs and has successfully lived with another dog in the past. He can be a strong boy on leash and does tend to pull, so he’ll need someone willing to continue working on his leash manners. A home without cats will be best for him. What we want more than anything is for someone to finally give Blue the chance he deserves. He’s spent almost two years homeless, watching life move on around him while he continues to wait. At almost 10 years old, Blue deserves to know what it feels like to have a home again. He deserves a soft bed, a couch to cuddle on, treats waiting in the kitchen, and someone who looks forward to coming home to him every day. Please don’t let his age, his breed, or his appearance make you overlook him. Blue is so much more than what you see in a picture. He’s a happy, affectionate boy with so much love left to give. After almost two years of waiting, we really hope it’s finally Blue’s turn.
