Meet Blue Bayou

LOCATION: BOWLING GREEN, MO ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA Meet Blue, a 65 lb bluetick coonhound with a friendly face and a classic blue ticked coat. He's fine with strangers and the other dogs at the shelter barely register on his radar- he mostly just minds his own business. His vet record says he's 10- Blue disagrees, and so does everyone he's met. His real age is a mystery- but our best guess is closer to 7. He landed in a rural Missouri shelter as a stray after being dumped with no microchip and no one claiming him. Kids, cats, house training and commands are all still unknown, so think of him as a choose-your-own-adventure with a very handsome main character. Blue will be arriving in Tulsa on 11/8 and will need a foster home to land in with someone willing to take the time to get to know him so we can match him with his perfect family. We'll update this space as we get to know more. helplesshounds.com/dogs Blue - Bluetick Coonhound - 6-10 years old - Bowling Green, MO - transport available - adoptable nationwide
