Meet Charly
Charly is an 8-year-old German Shepherd weighing nearly 100 pounds, and this big boy has an even bigger heart. Rescued from living in a junkyard, Charly came into rescue with chronic skin and ear infections. With proper care, he is now doing well and ready to find his forever family. Charly’s foster parents describe him as a love muffin who loves affection, playtime, and being with his people. He is a loyal, typical German Shepherd who knows basic commands and has been working with a trainer. He does well loose in the house and has never had an accident or been destructive. While he does not like being crated, he does well when left loose. Charly is good with other dogs but needs a cat-free home. He has some arthritis that is managed with pain medication and joint supplements. He also enjoys car rides and loves to “talk” to his foster parents along the way. After everything Charly has been through, he deserves a loving home where he can spend his senior years surrounded by people who appreciate his big personality and even bigger heart.
