Meet PIERRE

Meet Pierre! Pierre is an approximately 8-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with a gentle heart, a joyful spirit, and so much love to give. This sweet senior proves that age is just a number—he still enjoys going for walks, playing, and spending quality time with his favorite people. Pierre is potty trained, very responsive, and an easy companion to have by your side. Whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out for a stroll, he’ll happily be there, soaking up every moment with you. His affectionate personality and loving nature make him the kind of dog who quickly becomes a cherished member of the family. Pierre has been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, which is well managed with lifelong medication. He takes Trilostane 15 mg twice daily, Optimmune eye ointment once a day, and over-the-counter artificial tears three times a day. He will also need veterinary checkups at least twice a year to help keep him healthy and feeling his best. Because Pierre’s treatment is ongoing, we encourage interested adopters to speak with their veterinarian about the cost of his medications to ensure they fit comfortably within their budget. Pierre may have a few extra medical needs, but what he gives in return is immeasurable. He’s a sweet, devoted little companion looking for someone who will love him through his golden years.
