Meet MARGARET
#A5778651 Margaret is an 8-year-old spayed female German Shepherd mix with a beautiful brown and black coat and the softest, kindest eyes. Weighing 63 lbs, she came in as a stray on May 24 after what appears to have been a difficult life. She seems younger than her age and is ready to leave her past behind for a future filled with love. ❤️ You can tell she's likely been a mama and may have been used for breeding, but those days are finally behind her. She's now spayed, had a shoulder mass removed, and is healing well. Though initially a little unsure, she's incredibly sweet, tolerant of calm dogs, and just needs a gentle place where she can decompress. She shows signs of being housebroken, walks well with a little leash guidance, and deserves a family who will show her the kindness she's always deserved. -8 years old, spayed female, 63 lbs -German Shepherd, brown and black -Found as a stray on 05/24/2026 -Sweet, gentle, and soulful -Healing well after shoulder surgery -Shows signs of housebreaking -Adults-only, calm home recommended -Good with calm, large dogs -Ready for a soft place to land MARGARET’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/NpjUzs8Dink For more information, contact volunteer Lor at [email protected] Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/ Use their unique ID NUMBER.
