Meet Reecie

Reecie came to CTDR after experiencing a great deal of loss. Her human dad passed away very suddenly, and her human mom had to return to work and was no longer able to care for her. CTDR was honored to be asked to help find Reecie a loving forever home where she could feel safe and secure again. A few years ago, Reecie suffered a back injury and, while on crate rest, injured her back legs. Today, she gets around confidently using her wheels and a scooter and remains an active, curious little girl. Reecie can be cautious when meeting new people and prefers to warm up at her own pace, but once she does, her sweet personality shines. She would do best in a calm, adult-only home, as she is not fond of children. If you are interested in giving this resilient and special girl the loving forever home she deserves, please complete an adoption application at www.ctdr.org.
