Meet Athena
Meet Athena! Athena's journey hasn't been easy. She came to us as a protective and standoffish mama dog, fiercely guarding her 9 puppies after living a life on the streets and having litter after litter. It took a lot of time and patience to gain her trust, but now that she's found it again, Athena is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl. She may take some time to warm up to new people, but it doesnt take long before she trusts you, and beg for attention. Athena has a calm demeanor and would thrive in a home where her new family can give her the time and patience she needs to feel safe and comfortable. She is good with other dogs, walks well on leash, and currently uses a doggy door for the bathroom. Due to her being nervous with new people, older and considerate kids only. Athena is spayed, up to date on prevention, 4dx negative and fully vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. If you're interested in giving Athena the loving home she deserves, apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
