Meet Lola (ae)
We rescued Lola from Memphis Animal Control on 4-26-25. She was found close to their facility, with another dog and was very underweight. With proper care she has blossomed into a beautiful medium-small dog. Lola is a sweet, laid back girl, who enjoys the simple pleasures in life (napping and eating) and is ready to find her forever family to retire with. She’s 9-10 years old, about 40-45 lbs, and house trained. She isn’t crate trained in her foster home, but sleeps peacefully at night on her dedicated dog bed like the good girl she is. Lola enjoys meeting new people (she’s our official greeter), she gets along with other dogs, but does try to chase her fosters cats, so is likely best suited for a home with no cats, unless the situation can be managed. She does have some back issues and requires daily pain medication (currently less than $20 a month). We believe a calm home, with no small children would be best.
