Meet Piper - For the Love of Mastiffs
Piper is part of our "For the Love of Mastiffs" adoption event and her adoption fee is waived! Meet Piper! Piper ended up in a shelter near St. Louis MO when she was abandoned by her owners. She's estimated at 11 years old. The shelter described her as kind and people oriented. She is calm, soft and amazingly gentle. She passed all of the shelter's handling, food, toy, and sociability tests with A+ behavior. Piper can be dog selective. She prefers respectful, calm dogs or would love to be the only dog in the home. Cats are unknown this time. Piper is thankfully heartworm negative! She does have some elevated liver values on her labwork that we're getting rechecked. She also is showing signs of arthritis which is expected for a dog her age. We have started her on joint supplements to provide some extra support. Piper is being fostered in St. Charles, MO
