Meet Ariel
Ariel is a gentle, sweet-natured 8-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs 75 pounds. She enjoys a leisurely neighborhood walk to take in all the sights and smells, then is perfectly content to spend the rest of the day relaxing on the couch or curling up in a cozy dog bed. Ariel may be a little reserved when you first meet her, but she warms up quickly—especially with some tasty treats and gentle pets. She hasn’t shown much interest in meeting other dogs and may do best with another calm, easygoing pup. On walks, though, cats and squirrels definitely catch her attention! Like many adult dogs, Ariel has some great life skills already. She’s house-trained, well-behaved at home, and comfortable waiting patiently while her people are out. She knows sit, shake, and wait, and she’s quickly learned to look when asked, making it easy to get her attention. At night, she happily settles into her pen and sleeps until morning, patiently waiting for the day to begin. This dog is available by appointment only.
