Meet Kuma
Meet Kuma: A Gentle Soul Looking for His Forever Home. Kuma is a handsome 10-year-old Shiba Inu with a heart as big as his smile. This sweet senior is happiest spending time with his people, whether it's an evening walk, a road trip, or simply relaxing at home nearby. Kuma has wonderful manners, knows lots of behaviors, comes when called, and is incredibly loyal to anyone willing to offer a few scritches. While he's not much of a couch cuddler, he loves a comfy dog bed, a cool floor, and being close to his family. He's also happy to live with another calm, gentle dog. As a senior, Kuma has some arthritis, so stairs are a bit challenging and he appreciates a little boost into the car. Once he's settled, he's an excellent travel companion! His favorite outings are cool evening walks, where he can sniff to his heart's content and happily greet everyone he meets at the park. If you can't take him along, he's perfectly content to nap at home until you return. Since coming to SVPP, Kuma has been working hard to lose a few extra pounds and is looking forward to a healthy smile after his upcoming dental procedure. Kuma is ready to spend his golden years with a family who will love him for the gentle, loyal companion he is. If you're looking for an easygoing best friend to share life's simple pleasures, Kuma just might be your perfect match.
