Meet BETSY
Betsy would like everyone to know that while her birth certificate may say 11 years old, she personally identifies as `still ready to party!` Age is just a number, and Betsy plans to spend hers proving it. This sweet Boxer/Pittie mix greets life with a constantly wagging tail, a delightfully bouncy wiggle, and the kind of enthusiasm that makes every walk feel like the best day ever. She strolls nicely on leash with just a little pulling now and then, always eager to see what fun comes next. Betsy's favorite thing in the world is people. She checks in often for pets, scratches, and loving eye contact, then leans in close to make sure you don't stop too soon. If there were an Olympic event for `professional cuddle breaks,` she'd be bringing home the gold medal. Her previous family reports she's crate trained, loves car rides, isn't destructive, and has never been an escape artist. She lived as an outside dog and has been friendly with adults and children, making her a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a happy, affectionate best friend. Betsy has shown friendly, curious interest in several dogs through the fence at the shelter. However, her previous owners reported that she does not do well with small dogs, so she'll be happiest in a home without little canine roommates. If you're looking for a sweet senior who still has plenty of pep in her step, endless tail wags, and enough love to brighten every day, Betsy is ready to prove that the senior years are the best years.
