Meet SOCKS

Hello! I am Socks! Weight: 9.4# I am a certified lap dog. My friends describe me as friendly, affectionate, and playful. If you have other dogs in your home be sure to bring them in to meet me. I dont play too much with other dogs but I don't mind a laid back 4-legged small dog friend. I don't care for large dogs. I have never been around cats. Toys are taboo! I prefer chewing on bones! Besides that, I am unfortunately positive for heartworms. With the proper treatment, I can become heartworm free, but will need to be on a heartworm preventative long term. I will also need to be brought back to the shelter to undergo the treatments. This will be of no cost to you, and is fully covered by our generous Angel Fund! I will need a vet reference at the time of my adoption. Staff can answer any questions you may have regarding this. FWACC reserves the right to place me in my best fit home and will require a vet reference.
