Meet Taffy
Taffy is a 9-year-old, 44-pound lab mix with a sweet, easygoing personality. Her foster family reports she’s quiet and low-maintenance, and they adore having her around! She does well left home alone and has happily settled into a simple routine of walks, potty breaks, and plenty of downtime. Taffy can be a little independent when you first meet her, but treats and some gentle attention will quickly win her over. She knows “sit” and “shake,” takes treats politely, and once she’s comfortable, she’s happy to curl up next to you for some serious cuddle time. She’s also a great walking buddy who stays calm on leash. Around small animals, she’s unfazed and easily redirected, generally taking things in stride. She’s been mellow meeting other dogs, and could do well with an appropriately matched dog or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home. If you’re looking for a senior companion with a youthful spirit, Taffy Bear may be your girl. Click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.
