Meet Jake - My Home to Yours/AAMR

Jake is a distinguished gentleman at 13 years young. He lost his person, and sadly family members can’t take him. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and fine with other dogs, but he’d also be perfectly content as your one-and-only. Jake’s perfect day? Head rubs and being petted. He’s housetrained and will go outside for bathroom breaks, but he’s not one to linger or play — he’s all about the easy, quiet life now. This sweet senior deserves a soft place to land. "My Home to Yours" We have had numerous requests from citizens in our county to help them rehome their pets, but they are willing to keep them in the home until it happens, rather than bring them to the overflowing shelter at Campbell County Animal Control near Yellow Branch. We are listing those cats and dogs on our website as "My Home to Yours." We ask that interested adopters fill out the FOAC application, and we will pass it along to the family wanting to rehome. We cannot guarantee health, temperament, or behavior for these pets, as we have not met them. However, we are happy to act as a resource for issues that may arise. **For pets not spayed or neutered, we are happy to help set that up!
