Meet Zeke

Meet Zeke! This handsome yellow Lab is a nice size and in good shape at 65lbs. This boy was a part of a loving family for the first 7 years of his life, then his family found out they needed to move oversees. Unfortunately, Zeke was unable to move to this new home with his family. He grew up with their children and was around their friends and family and loved them all. Zeke is house-trained and crate-trained. He was comfortable spending time in the backyard when the family was away, and he did not chew or dig. He enjoys having space to play and would do best in a home with a yard where he can run, fetch, swim, and spend time with his people. He gets along well with other dogs. Some of his favorite activities are chasing balls, playing in the yard, swimming, and being active with the family. Zeke is very motivated by food with toys as a close second. He knows a few basic commands such as Sit and Leave It. He rides calmly in the car and is generally good on leash, though he can get excited when heading out for walks or meeting new people and dogs. Even though he is 7 years old, Zeke is still quite active and in really good physical shape. Zeke's ideal home would be with someone who understands Labrador energy, has room for him to play, and can give him exercise, structure, affection, and a stable forever home. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Zeke then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog.
