Meet Micky

Meet Micky! Micky is a 13-year-old Chihuahua who is having a hard time adjusting to shelter life. After spending his entire life with his owner, he suddenly found himself in a place that’s loud, unfamiliar, and scary after his owner passed away. Right now, Micky is shy, nervous, and keeps to himself… and honestly, we don’t blame him. This is the first time he’s ever been in a shelter, and everything he knew has changed. We expect that once he’s in a home where he feels safe and can settle into a routine, he’ll become much more comfortable and show his true personality. For now, Micky would do best in a quiet home without young children, with someone who understands that he’ll need a little time and patience to adjust. He’s been through a lot, and he deserves the chance to spend his senior years in a home instead of a shelter. If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet senior who just needs someone to help him feel safe again, Micky would love to meet you. You may find me on our website under "ADOPT
