Breed: Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) Age: 15 years old (Born January 2011) Energy Level: Low / Gentle Senior Ideal Home: A quiet, loving home where someone is around frequently to give him regular potty breaks and gentle companionship. About Tosh Tosh is a sweet, gentle Sheltie who wins over the heart of everyone he meets. At 15 years young, he has perfected the art of being a calm, comforting presence. Most of his day is spent happily napping, but if you sit down next to him and hold out your hand, he will gently offer you his paw to hold—it's his signature move, and it's impossible not to melt! Because he has lost most of his hearing due to age, he is remarkably quiet and rarely barks. He may not hear you come into the room, but he is always eager to greet a friendly face and soak up gentle affection. Habits & Daily Life Great Companion: Tosh gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. His easygoing nature makes him a peaceful addition to any household. Loves His Walks: While his high-energy days are behind him, Tosh still gets genuinely excited for his daily walks! He loves taking in the sights and smells at a comfortable, leisurely pace. House Training: Tosh is house-trained, but as a senior gent, he needs a predictable routine with frequent access to the yard to prevent accidental slips. Health & Care: Tosh suffers from occasional seasonal allergies, which can cause him to chew on his paws or coat. Keeping up with mild allergy management keeps him comfortable and happy.
