Meet Benji
Meet Benji. This handsome and smiley 7yo, 18-lb. Chihuahua mix just loves life! He is very friendly, loves people and other dogs. He will bark at and chase a cat though if the cat runs. He is mostly leash trained and crate trained. We are working on his potty training, and he is starting to go to the door when he wants to go out, but he does need to be taken out on a regular schedule. He will mark at first, so a belly band is needed for him in the beginning. This sweet boy's most favorite thing in the world to do is to play with another playful dog, so we are wanting a playmate for him, as well as a fenced yard to run and play in. He also loves playing with toys. He is a submissive, easy-going guy. Benji is heartworm positive at this time, and is on the slow kill protocol, which we can explain that process to any interested applicant. He can enjoy regular activities. Heart worm disease is contracted from an infected mosquito and cannot be transmitted to another dog. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Benji, please complete an application and tell us more about your family.
