Meet Oscar, a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever weighing 70 pounds, with a heart as big as his smile! This handsome senior is the definition of an easy-going companion. Whether he's enjoying a leisurely walk, lounging on a cozy bed, or happily accepting a tasty treat, Oscar is simply content to be by your side. Oscar is treat motivated and eager to earn snacks. His gentle, well-mannered personality makes him a wonderful fit for a variety of homes, and he's ready to spend his golden years soaking up all the love he deserves. Oscar is currently heartworm positive, but don't let that discourage you. Wish Bone Canine Rescue will continue providing his heartworm treatment, whether that's through our veterinarian or by supplying medication to your veterinarian, so you can focus on enjoying life together. Senior dogs have so much love left to give, and Oscar is ready to prove it every single day. All he's asking for is a comfortable home, a soft place to nap, and a family who will cherish him as much as he'll cherish them. Oscar's adoption fee is $200. While Oscar is available to be adopted on his own, he came to Wish Bone with his best buddy, Felix. If you're able to open your heart and home to both wonderful seniors, their combined adoption fee is just $300. There is a $15 rabies transfer fee per dog for McLean County Residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
