Meet Spike

Senior spaniels are so special and Spike is no exception! Spike's owner was unable to care for him any longer and reached out to our rescue for assistance. Spike is 14 years young and weighs around 38 pounds. He isn't overweight but a larger cocker with velvety fur and a sweet personality. Spike has limited vision but has no problem using his nose to get around exceptionally well -- pups with special powers like smell and hearing do amazing things! With a consistent schedule, Spike is house trained and can be left alone without any concerns. He is friendly and loves a belly rub. Spike also enjoys walks and does very well on the leash. Please consider opening your home and heart to a special pup like Spike, who is looking for a soft landing after losing so much. Please email [email protected] if you can foster or adopt, even a weekend foster helps Spike! Thank you!!!
