Meet UNO

Meet Uno! Looking for a loyal little shadow? Uno loves being close to her people and is happiest by your side. She is a friendly, social girl who enjoys meeting new people and has done well interacting with visitors at the shelter. She walks nicely on leash, is easy to handle, and has been a pleasure for our staff to spend time with. According to her previous owner, Uno is house-trained and crate-trained. She was surrendered because of chewing on household items and barking. In many cases, these behaviors can be related to boredom, lack of enrichment, or adjusting to changes in routine. Providing appropriate chew toys, regular exercise, and mental stimulation may help set her up for success in her new home. Her previous owner also reported that Uno can be nervous around children. During her shelter assessment, however, she was friendly with several children and allowed gentle petting while remaining relaxed. As with any dog, we recommend that all interactions between children and pets be supervised. The previous owner also stated that Uno was not good with other dogs, but she has not yet participated in a dog meet-and-greet at the shelter, so we have not been able to evaluate her behavior with other dogs ourselves. Any potential canine siblings should meet Uno before adoption to ensure a good match. If you're looking for a sweet companion who enjoys staying close to her person and would love a home where she can be part of the family, Uno may be the perfect fit! Come meet her and see if she's the missing piece to your family.
