Athena proves that not every Husky has to be a nonstop whirlwind. This beautiful, mature girl is the perfect medium-sized package with a medium energy level to match. She's happy to join you for an adventure, enjoys playtime, and is just as content hanging out by your side afterward. She still has that charming Husky personality—curious, playful, and always ready to see what life has in store—but one thing that really sets her apart is how much she enjoys affection. Athena doesn't just tolerate pets; she actively seeks them out, happily leaning in for scratches and soaking up attention from her favorite people. She's both dog and human social, making friends wherever she goes with her easygoing, friendly nature. Whether she's exploring the yard, playing with canine companions, or asking for a little extra love, Athena brings a wonderful balance of fun and companionship. Athena has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. She's also sharing her shelter suite with a friend she met at the shelter.
