Meet Juno
Meet Juno! An eight-and-a-half-year-old Jindo/Siberian Husky mix currently in Natick, MA, whose gentle spirit shines through her beautiful tan coat with black-tipped fur and her loyal, affectionate personality. At around 50 pounds, Juno is a wonderful blend of medium energy and mellow companionship. She absolutely loves long walks, happily greets other dogs, enjoys playing with canine friends, and is always ready for a car ride to the next adventure! Whether she is exploring a new trail, attending doggy daycare, staying at boarding, or visiting new places, she is known for being social, friendly, and easygoing. At home, she is content to relax nearby, soaking up pets and quietly keeping her favorite people company. Juno is house-trained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, knows commands including sit, stay, down, come, leave it, spin, jump, and bed, and has completed formal obedience training. She does best with daily exercise, mental enrichment, and a consistent routine. She also has hip dysplasia, has undergone hip surgery, and eats a special diet to help manage her long-term health. Like many devoted dogs, Juno feels a strong responsibility to protect the people she loves. She has become increasingly territorial with unfamiliar visitors inside her home and recently bit a visitor during an introduction. She has also shown some toy resource-guarding around other dogs. Outside her home environment, however, she consistently shows the sweet, friendly personality that so many people know and love. She would benefit from an experienced pet parent who understands behavior support, positive reinforcement, and thoughtful introductions to new visitors. Juno would thrive in an adult household with a fenced yard, plenty of daily activity, and opportunities to continue socializing. She is compatible with respectful older children but should not live with young children or cats because of her prey drive. She may do well as the only pet or with another compatible dog following careful introductions. Her next family will gain a devoted companion who offers quiet affection, loyal friendship, and joyful adventures every single day. Could Juno be the loyal friend you have been hoping to meet?
