Meet Violet Valentina
Meet Violet Valentina! Violet Valentina is a sweet 11-year-old senior dapple Dachshund with the cutest personality! She loves cozy naps, sunbathing, squeaky toys, and snuggling with her favorite humans. Although she’s a senior, she still has bursts of energy and loves trying to keep up with her younger foster siblings during their morning zoomies. This smart little girl quickly learned to use a potty pad on rainy days and to head to the back door when it’s time to potty outside. She’s also working on losing a little weight, and her big backyard has been helping her stay active. Violet is good at going to her kennel for feeding time and if her human has to leave the house. However, she is not a fan of the kennel itself. She will bark until she calms down, which takes about 5 to 10 minutes, and then she will go to sleep. She would do best in a home that does not practice kenneling or only kennels for meal times. Violet gets along well with dogs of all sizes and has lived happily with a cat, but she would do best in a home without children. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a gentle heart and a playful spirit, Violet Valentina could be the perfect addition to your family. Submit your application today—she can’t wait to meet you!
