Meet Mabel
Meet Mabel ❤️Mabel is a 10-year-old, 5-pound black Poodle who came to CAWS on a lifesaving transport. This tiny little lady is truly one of a kind and absolutely overflowing with sweetness! Mabel has recently received some much-needed medical care and is now settling into her foster home beautifully. She is working on gaining some weight, slowly and safely, and we’re excited to see her continue to thrive. Mabel is house trained and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, both male and female. She loves cuddling on the couch, sleeping with her people and furry siblings, and giving her foster mom the sweetest, gentlest kisses. She also absolutely loves leisurely time in the yard. She is quiet as a mouse and rarely barks—unless you try to crate her alone! Mabel is perfectly happy relaxing in a large crate with other dogs where she can see her people, but she does not like being crated by herself. Because of her tiny size, Mabel needs a calm home without young children or a rowdy environment. A securely fenced yard is required so she can safely enjoy outdoor time at her own pace. Mabel doesn't need a busy life or big adventures. She needs a safe, peaceful home, unconditional love, and someone who will cherish her for the rest of her life. She is a precious little soul who has so much love left to give. If you can give this magnificent little lady the forever home she deserves, please fill out an adoption application to arrange a meet and greet. ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $100.
